Following is an init/cdev available from sumex that
changes your windows and scroll bars to look similar to
the NeXT.  This includes the proportional scroll bars that
you mentioned.  It's archived in
/info-mac/cdev/next-style-windows.hqx.  There's also an
init available from sumex that may do the scroll bar thing
without changing your windows.  I haven't tried it, but it's
in /info-mac/init/next-scroll-bars.hqx.

what is sumex?  Is it an ftp site?
