hi netters, Just recently a Resedit code picker was posted to sumex. I've been after a disassembler for my Mac for a loong time, but have always had to use Macsbug etc. (and of course this implies that the program is in memory). The beauty of this picker (from the blurb) was that it could disassemble CODE resources in the files themselves. So, off I went to sumex, ftp-ed, kermited to a Mac (archaic I know), binhexed and launched stuffit 1.5.....ping!, 'this stuffit archive has the wrong header, use a more recent version'. Well, I don't have stuffit deluxe, so is there anyone out there that can tell me were this file lives in an incantation that is understood by lowly stuffit 1.5? Thanks for any help, Tony. phd11@uk.ac.kl.seq1

By now it should have been removed from Sumex, GEnie, and America Online. Those are where I know it was posted. The version that got out was NOT ready for release. It has bugs! Not the least of which is not letting go of the menu bar handle. If you bring in 2 code editors at one you will hang your machine. There are other bugs as well. Time permitting some more features are being added. Not the least of which is the ability to use the HEX editor concurrently with the code editor. Be paitent. It will eventually be released. For now get rid of the copy you got and if you know of other bulletin boards where the code editor is posted, let me know. Ira Ruben Apple Computer, Inc.
