I accidentally press some key combination that I could not figure out. For some reason a box with border about 1 character thick appeared around my mouse pointer on the screen. The box appeared to be following my mouse pointer. When I pressed command-option up or down arrow the box changed its size. However, this happened only once. When I tried to get rid of the box by restarting my mac using the restart programmer's key, I could not resize the box around the pointer anymore. I tried to get rid of the box several times using several methods (by excluding the inits from the system folder, etc.) and several times my mac crashed. I finally got rid of the box by pressing some random key combinations (again I don't know what it was). What was going on with my mac? I have several inits installed (TMON,Disk Doubler, Window, OnQue, Responder, Rival,etc.). I have had these inits and cdevs for several months already without having any problems whatsoever. -- ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// ** Kingson@uxh.cso.uiuc.edu ** ** or try kgg6822@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu ** ** University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign USA ** ** Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering ** ** Electromagnetic and Communication Laboratory ** //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
