Is Macintosh OS Version 6.0.7 okay to use on my SE/30, or should I not use any version later than 6.0.5 ? I have heard that System 6.0.7 was made for the Macintosh Classic and Macintosh IIsi exclusively, and it cannot be run on other Macintosh models without causing many programs to crash. Can anyone confirm this one way or the other ? Coincidentally, a friend of mine also just purchased an SE/30, and it came with System 6.0.7, so if this is a machine specific operating system, then Apple made a shipping goof, huh ? Also, one other question. What is the latest word on Macintosh OS V 7.0 ? Please EMAIL me if you have the answer to either/both question(s). Thanks in advance. Roger Medlin
