What softwares are there, both PD and commercial, that reads music notes entered by the user and plays with different instruments? I am not talking about hooking up expensive electronic keyboards but something that allows users to enter musical notes on the screen. I remember few years ago, when Apple II GS first came out, which had a pretty nice music software that played tons of instruments simuta- neously.
