I recently received my Nec Multisync GS 2A monitor with the appropriate Ruby adapter to connect it correctly to my Mac IIsi. Well, I am rather disappointed with the quality of the display. It is "fuzzy" you might say. The white background is not white but looks kind of like high quality resume paper. There are "little flakes" sprinkled everywhere. It definitely is not as white as the Apple 13" High Res Color Monitor I just (stupidly) sold. The blacks and greys are fine. I think the apparant fuzziness of the screen is a result of the background not being bright white. It's just fuzzy!!! Has anyone had any similar problems? Can you recommend any solutions. There appears to be a place on the back that pops off to reveal some adjustments maybe. I am afraid to pry too hard since I don't won't to void my ability to return this monitor if I can't solve this problem. Any ideas? Just in case anyone is wondering why I sold a great color monitor and bought a (sorry???-hope not) grey scale. Well, I need to run AUX and made about $500 of the swap. So, I am well on my way to AUX. I figure color is not that important running unix. Anyway, it just slows the IIsi down too much. Black/White screams!!! thanks, Kane
