A friend of mine is trying to start a BBS on his mac 2 using Second Sight BS (it used to be called Red Ryder, i believe) but he is having major problems with the message bases. The messages are being saved into the counters, but the actual text of the messages is being completely screwed. Can you read meassages correctly bu the text is garbage? Are the message headers intact? Try this - take a message section and extract the messages to a text file. Is the text intact there? Are the message files in the same folder as SS/RRH?
