Here's the situation: We have a LaserWriter II NTX available to both our Macintoshes (of which there are many) and Sun workstations. The queue for the Sun jobs is managed on one Sun server. Mac jobs come in over AppleTalk. For the past four days, the queue on the LaserWriter has been stuck because there is what looks like a Mac job hanging the printer. An lpq of the printer gives me: job: Richard; document: Doc 1: Kahin -v3; status: busy; source: AppleTalk Rank Owner Job Files Total Size active doug 2 /tmp/ES004115 11964 bytes 1st milty 993 standard input 6922 bytes 2nd milty 994 standard input 5851 bytes 3rd descobar 133 /tmp/ESa07438 8303 bytes [...] The problem: I cannot find the Mac that is spooling this print job. I have gone around to each of them and checked the Chooser (to see if it's "Richard") and the print spooler. Rebooting the NTX doesn't help. I even tried removing the paper tray from the printer, in hopes that the problem Mac would start beeping. No luck. I would appreciate any help I can get. I am definitely not a Mac expert, so be gentle with me if the answer is blindingly obvious. Thanks, Charleen
