[comp.sys.mac.misc] Net.Bunny

I don't have this, but the program author informs me that it
will *only* run on color machines, which eliminates a good percentage of
us anyway.......

Why doesnt someone write a b/w version which isn't subject to TM hassles?

I am not a lawyer (thank goodness) by any shape of the imagination, but
regardless of color, shade, tone or otherwise, you are subject trademark
violations if the character (which is one of the only trademarkable parts
to the commerical) is used in any shape or form without permission. So,
you see, making a black and white version isn't going to do any good
without permission of Eveready, which I understand Dean Yu (the author) is
attempting to do as we speak. Good luck!

Go ahead, no one is stopping you.

Seems that people are right about NetBunny having gotten loose. I found
Version 1.0B2 on the Washington Apple Pi bulletin board. I will try and call
them to let them know about Eveready decision not to allow it.

This OK with you Dean?? Just figured I would let you know how far it has
gotten! BTW, is this the latest version, didn't seem to work on my
stand-alone IIcx so I deleted it!

Someone was kind enough to send me a copy of NetBunny 1.0d1. How
do I get it to work? I've installed it on two different MacIIcx's
(one using system 6.0.3 the other using 6.0.7) with no luck. Any
suggestions? It doesn't crash either machine, but it doesn't do
anything either.

Cheers,

Chris

Since it's highly unusual for a posting to go without any response whatsoever,
this is a repost of a request. Perhaps this will not be eaten by the Black
Hole...

I have just obtained access to a CD ROM player & the Apple Developer disks
through work. Could someone tell me where to find Net.Bunny? I remember the
discussions from many moons ago, but I had no reason to believe that I
could get access to it.

Thanks.
