I want to compare two files, and if they are identical, discard one. I can't just look at them, because they are very large and complicated. In Unix, I use the command "diff." Is there a similar Mac command/application? I'm a very inexperienced mac user, running system 6.0.5 on a Mac IIci. I looked in an archive, and found something called compare-09.hqx. But I don't know what hqx is or how to handle it. I wonder if this is what I need. Could someone out help me out? Email would be best, I can summarize -> hbh@athena.mit.edu Thank you. -- _________________________________________________________________________ Heidi B.
