There is one way for you to create a table in Word and then use it in Nisus. In Word, select the entire table by holding down the Option key and double-clicking anywhere in the table. Once the table is selected, type Command-Option-d. This makes a copy of the selection and converts it to a PICT and puts it on the Clipboard. Once it's on the Clipboard, open your Nisus document, and paste the PICT of your table where you want it. Now, before you start... Yes, this does mean that if you need to change the table, you will need to do this again, but if you can wait until the table is done and then paste it into Nisus, all should be well. By the way, this all works in Word as well, so if you create a table and then want to resize it, do the same thing.
