Hello Netters, When I first lurked around the Net in '81 I had a home made 300 baud modem in my Radio Shack. I would call someone on voice and after a brief conversation, flip a switch, and the modem will connect with his. Currently I'm using a Mac and a borrowed EVEREX 2400 modem. Here's the problem. If I'm on voice with someone, what commands would I have to send to the modem (using Red Ryder) to make it go to data? Right now my friend down in Florida have to call twice. I would also like to use his 800 number and connect with him by voice and then go to data. Please Email.
