Finder Sounds is an INIT/cDev that will assign sounds to functions you
perform in the Finder. Ex: Open an Window, close a window, drag items,
etc. Unless you have a fast Mac II don't bother running this because it
drags the speed of the machine down.

My favorite sound is the Toilet Flush when you empty the trash.

Hello there. It's time for a quick survey, If you're interested.
I'm writing a paper on sound as an addition to the user interface,
and I am using as an example, the program Finder Sounds (or Sonic
Finder, as it might be known). It was written by William Gaver,
and is a cdev/init.
Anyway, I'd be interested in knowing how many people have used
this, have heard of it, or what they think of it. I only need
a few short answers, and I don't mean to be too much of a bother.

   In summary:
What do you think about this program?
     What could be different?
Have you even ever heard of this?
How much have you used it?
Please feel free to answer any or all of these questions, and I
will be eternally grateful.

Please respond to: RAFST3@vms.cis.pitt.edu.

Again, I thank you very much.
