I am currently looking into data-acquisition hardware and software for either a Macintosh or an IBM PC. Our decision on the platform to be used hinges mainly on the ease-of-use of the software. I am quite enthused about National Instruments offerings, LabView 2.0 (for the Macintosh) and LabWindows 2.0 (for the PC-compatibles). I'd like to gather impressions of each, ESPECIALLY from individuals who have actually USED both packages. Our main focus will be doing FFT's on data pulled from a temperature sensor array, so I also need to focus on the appropriate version of each package (i.e. I don't think LabWindows 1.2 will cut it here). If you have experience with both packages, please drop me E-mail at the address below. I'd like to keep the cross-posting to a minimum, as I don't often get to comp.sys.ibm.pc. Thanks much!
