Hello: I am trying to use the GoTo command in Excel in a bookkeeping spreadsheet that contains many different columns of different information. I need to be able to go to a specific purchase order number in a row in order to retreive relevant data. The spreadsheet contains about 100 rows, each containing a different purchase order number. The spreadsheet contains one table for a financial summary which requires an established criteria range. I am not sure if having a table will interfere (based on my experience in trying to alter tables) in my attempt to use the goto or find feature. Should I establish a macro which will automatically define each purchase order number as it is input under the column Purchase Order in order to use the goto or find command? In otherwords, in order to use the goto feature I have to define a name or a range of names. My dilemma is that each purchase order number is a different number. I would appreciate any suggestions and help. I would think that Excel would offer this feature for large spreadsheets. This spreadsheet indicates open and closed purchase orders and contains a running balance and budget information. If additional information is needed about the design of the spreadsheet, I can send it. Thank you for your help.
