[comp.sys.mac.misc] Font conversion software

tuceryan@ss1.cps.msu.edu (Mihran Tuceryan) (04/23/91)

I am interested in what software exists (or doesn't) to do the following
font conversions:

	1. Type 1 postscript fonts to Hewlett Packard outline fonts.
and/or	2. Type 1 fonts to TrueType fonts.

I would be interested in both public domain or commercial software.

Thanks
Mihran Tuceryan

I know that both FontMonger and Metamorphosis will handle #2;
FontMonger will save you some money in the process.

I'm also interested in converting Type 1 or Type 3 PostScript to HP
Soft Fonts (I think that's what they call their outline fonts). I
have a feeling, though, that if there are any programs that do this,
they'll only run on PCs...
