Are there any tools available to *design* TrueType fonts yet? Not just
convert existing PostScript Type 1 or Type 3 fonts, but actually start
from scratch? I'm envisioning something like Fontographer, except for
TrueType fonts rather than PostScript.
Second question: where are the TrueType font specifications to be found?
I mean the internal specification of just how the TrueType fonts are set
up -- equivalent to Adobe's "Black Book," the "Type 1 Font Specification."
Thanks in advance, and please reply by email. I'll summarize to the net
if enough (more than a couple) people express interest in my findings.
