I'm looking for a version of the UNIX sh utility that will run on the Mac so I can un-shar files without having to have a UNIX account somewhere. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Taylor Taylor Leaming tleaming@taurus.sim.es.com Evans & Sutherland Computer Corp.

A simple but workable 'unshar' utility is available by anonymous ftp from sumex-aim.stanford.edu and its mirrors as /info-mac/util/unshar.hqx. Also check out "tar", UUTool (uu**coding), and MacCompress (".Z" compress and decompress). All are freeware; all of them work. Bill (johnston@minnie.me.udel.edu)
