This is probably a silly question but I will ask it anyway! I had just read a message about connecting an Apple IIgs and a mac to the same device. Well I was wondering if I could connect two macs to the same device. We have a PLI drive and two Macs (an SE/30 and an SE) They are used for staff (Lecture notes/papers etc). One machine (SE30) has an internal 40 meg drive and the other (SE) has a PLI drive sitting under it! The amount of user files on the machine is about 30meg leaving not much space for applications. What we have tried to do is connect both machines together via appletalk and have all files on one drive and all applications on the other. To do this we have experimented with a few shareware items (singleshare etc) and TOPS, all of which do not seem to do an adequate job! I need suggestions! Can I connect the PLI drive to both machines at the same time (ie one machine in each of its SCSI slots!) Or will this cause something to go seriously wrong! Please EMAIL and I will summarise if there is a big interest! -- __________ /\ \_______\ ================================================================ \ \ \____ / Philip Wild / phil@cutmcvax.cs.curtin.edu.au \ \ \/ / / Dept.
