A question for Macintosh gurus around the world: (please pardon me if this is a FAQ) ` How can I suppress the printing of test pages every time I power on my LaserWriter? I got ahold of this utility off of AppleLink as part of the True Type font stuff. I don't think that either are available on Sumex. I would post them there if I knew if this was OK. You can get this utility via anonymous FTP at apple.com. Can I assume that if it is available via FTP for free then I can freely distribute it? Someone let me know. I couldn't resist answering here, because I've seen this question alot, and the answer is so simple. If you have the True Type disk set, it's the easiest thing in the world! Just use the Laserwriter Font Utility that comes on one of the disks, and when you launch it, one of the options on the Utilities menu is Startup Page options. Choosing that gives you 2 options: On and Off. That's it. -- --------------------------------------- Mark J.
