I'm seeking recommendations for the above. I've seen reviews for the
Epson, Howtek, La Cie, etc. I have some info on the AVR unit which
can emulate an Apple Scanner and comes with PhotoShop LE. Any comments
for or against these or other 24 bit desktop scanners? Please send
email.

Here's a note of thanks to all those who emailed their comments on
large screen Mac monitors. There was an overwhelming E-machines
response. However, the price with video card was well over $3,000
from our local Nynex dealer. I wound up recommending a SuperMac 19"
color display with a video card for $2,700 combined or with a video
card/accelerator for $3,300 combined.
