I have need for a Mac application which can take a series of folders/files and compress them into a single application; this application can then be copied to another machine and run to restore the original file structure. I have been monitoring this and other Mac newsgroups for a couple of days, and have seen references to "autoextractors" -- these may be what I am looking for. Can anyone send me information about such a tool? Please respond with email, and I will post a summary if there is an interest.
