One problem with having too many groups is that the more groups there are the more they will be misposted to. Remember the suggestion that we create a net.modem because people were talking about modems in various random groups? As it happens, we already have a net.dcom for talking about data communications; the problem is that there are too many groups so that people have a hard time keep track of them. As for the unsubcribe to discussion command, anybody have the time to implement this? I have worked out a scheme for doing this that I will be glad to explain upon request, but it would require lots of work to write. Kenneth Almquist

Ron, please create it, so I can unsubscribe. I really don't understand the people who complain about the creation of more groups. The argument of "just exercise the n" does not hold water, just imagine we had only 1 group and you had to exercise the "n" on a 300 Baud line .... I am still waiting for the creation of the command "N" (that's capital-N), meaning " ... and don't even ask me if I want to see any follow-ups to this article" Can't resist trying to follow most groups ... ---Werner
