[comp.sys.mac.misc] Increasing system memory

Is there any way to increase the amount of memory available to the system?
I know that finder memory can be changed using Get Info, but not the
system. Any suggestions?

System 7 claims to handle it for you automatically.
In 6.X systems, there are various utilities, such as
HeapFixer (from CE software), Bootman (which is public
domain, I believe), etc. to set the size of the system
heap.
