On the mac in question, when in View by Icon mode in order to see the size of the hard disk (file server volume, in this case) it doesn't give a valid number as the "K in disk" number: it's something like 14S28 K in disk. Same with the space available figure. Even selecting the volume and doing "Get Info" on it gives the same result. Needless to say, this makes me nervous, but I'm not sure what is going wrong here.
