I couldn't get your address to work. Anyway, for bruce@cfa.harvard.edu. If you have word, to an "Open Any File" and open them. See what is in them. I have never had any thing like that appear. I would take them out of the system folder at least and then run each of your programs and cdevs and whatever, looking afterwards to see if they appear and figure out who the culprit is.
