One of 'my' Mac II's has developed a strange behaivor.. there's vertical bars in the display of all monitors. in B/W mode, they're about 16 pixels wide with 16 pixels of normal screen between them. Each 'bar' is a 50% gray pattern and runs from top to bottom, obscuring the screen In 8-bit mode they are about 4 pixels wide, with 4 normal pixels betwee them and they are purple. (NOT std magenta). swapping video cards, monitors, systems (6.07 distr.), hard disks, yields no change in behaivor.. (oh yeah, also tried swapping cables&slots) Anyone seen this before? Is this something i culd do myself like a bad ROM or a common chip or do i have to spring for a new board? (of course that means we just upgrade to an FX !!) Oh yeah, except for the strange video, it works fine... -- Mike_Schechter@isr.syr.edu | XLII,B,+3dB,Non-Nak | Make Tapes, Not War
