I am currently in the market for an inkjet printer and would like to know what other people on the net are currently using! I have a mac SE/30 running system 7 with 5 megs of RAM. I am using truetype fonts but am thinking of getting ATM ( I am not all that happy with TT) The printer may also be used with an IBM AT clone (depending on pricing - I would prefer to pay a little more for something offering me this than a little less for something that doesn't - I stress the word little)! I have been looking around at the Cannon bj10e and the bj300 as well as the Stylewriter and some of the HP printers. I am a bit confused about the HP printers and would like as much info on them as possible! The HP DeskWriter (preferred for the mac) which has the appletalk port seems to be what most people suggest, but the price seems a bit out of my range! I have heard of other people using the HP range with the serial ports and this sounds like just what I need (maybe :-) What are the HP printer that I can successfully use? I know of a few but not if I can use them! Can I use the HP Deskjet 500 and (and what about the DeskJet plus and the DeskJet II ) What other models will run with a the mac. What software are people using to run any of the above mentioned printers. Are there any problems with the software (incompatibilities etc) Thankyou for any information that you can supply ( no matter how little) I will summarise to the net if I get enough replies Philip -- __________ /\ _______\ ================================================================ \ \ \____ / Philip Wild / phil@cutmcvax.cs.curtin.edu.au \ \ \/ / / Dept.
