I bought a Stylewriter 1 1/2 months ago, and have been rather happy with it. My only disappointment has been that it does not work with the Apple print spooler, so all printing has to be done in the foreground. I have held off buying SuperLaserSpool, or whatever the application is that works with the Stylewriter in the background, because I was certain that Apple would come out with an updated print spooler the day after I ordered the commercial product. In any case, does anyone know (1) if the rumored print spool update from Apple is close to completion, or (2) if there are any other advantages to running SuperLaserSpool in addition to background printing. I thank you all in advance for your time.

SuperLaserSpool V2.0.2 is purported to work with the StyleWriter but I had a problem with rotated objects in MacDraw II not printing. Without SLS, everything printed fine. With SLS, flipped objects worked fine (as a workaround). -- = Enjoy! = = John DeRosa, Motorola, Inc, Cellular Infrastructure Group = = e-mail: motcid!derosaj@uunet.uu.net, n1111@applelink.apple.com = =I do not hold by employer responsible for any information in this message =
