We are planning a new school and need to know what the MAC will be like in two years. In the last school we built, the rooms were wired to allow instructors to turn the power off to the monitors on the MAC to get the student's attention. This works great if you have MACs that have the monitor and cpu on two different power sources. As we prepare for the new school, a machine like the MAC Classic is perfect for the language arts areas. The question is then, "DO you think there will be a machine like the MAc classic in two years?" If there won't be, then wiring the rooms to control the monitor may be justified. If there will be, then may not. Also, is there any software available to to the same thing? I'd really appreciate any input you might have. Please send your responses directly to me. I'll be out of the center for the next week or so and our news files will be purged before I get back. Vince Humes Millcreek School District
