I've got this weird problem. The LC in our demo room has recently been upgraded to 7.0. All was fine until about two days ago. It seems as if someone created a folder called untitled. There is nothing in it. This folder was moved underneath the HD icon (for what reason I have no idea). When the mouse button was released, this watch came up, and the machine hung. Upon reboot, I tried to dispose of the folder in the trash. Again, as soon as the button of the mouse is let go after dragging to the trash... watch=>hang. In fact, any attempt to move this folder to any location results in the hang. Is this the folder from hell problem found in 6.0.7, or is it something totally different. It alway reappears after restart. I'd dig at it with ResEdit but the LC is not mine and mty superiors won't let me. The Dope: LC 4-40 appletalk network system 7.0 BTW On our cx connected to the same network, I have this exact same problem every time I try to create an alias. Same syptoms, same everything. I would greatly appreciate any response. E-mail would be more convenient but it's fine if you post. Thanks.... Stump.
