Greetings all, I am a consultant here at the Stanford University Macintosh Cluster, and we here are looking for an acounting program/spooler/whatever that will: 1. Let each student print out a certain quota of pages for free, and 2. Print out a bill, or an accounting of how many pages each student went over that quota. I was wondering if any other administrator's of macintosh clusters had already implemented this and how they did it. Some problems that I see is: 1. Does each user have to login to the macintosh? the print spooler? something else? 2. Must you set up separate accounts for each user or can you use the Unix account? their student ID number?
