I want to construct a graphical user interface for a large kernel of FORTRAN co
de. The compiled FORTRAN code may run either on the resident Mac or on a separ
ate host. The GUI should have the usual features, most notably an ability to g
rab screen position info by pointing and clicking, the ability to open a number
of windows, dedicated menu bar and pull-down lists, etc. I would like some ti
ps on the best way to construct the interface, including the language of choice
and any specific software tools that will simplify the development.
