I am looking for a PD/shareware program called Fold Machine. I'm not sure who wrote it or if it is an application or DA. I heard about it through the boston computer society mac group. It supposedly does: compares files in two specified folders and reports differences, both data and resource forks. Intended for use by programmers. I am only interested in using it to compare 2 files, but I'm sure I can do this. Would someone post it somewhere and let me know so I can download it (assuming author allows this kind of distribution)? Perhaps it is already on some BBS or anon ftp site, in which case a simple pointer would suffice. On a related note, I was surprised to read in a recent posting to this group that it takes a month or so for submissions to sumex to appear. Is there another archive that is more up to date (not to cast aspersions on the sumex people, who do a great job)? Thanks again Rich Akerboom Internet: boomer@eleazar.dartmouth.edu
