[comp.sys.mac.wanted] AppleTalk to ethernet and NFS

a379@mindlink.UUCP (Gordon Mulcaster) (05/03/90)

A Plus can be connected to Ethernet either through a AppleTalk/Ethernet
gateway, or a SCSI Ethernet card/box.

AppleTalk is built into all macs (all you have to do is wire them together.

Hello McNetters;

Our company is interested in learning more about networking macs
with Ethernet. Some question arise;

	* Can a MacPlus be connected to Ethernet? What are the
	  tools needed?  Who make them?

	* What do you have to do to get AppleTalk for a MacPlus?

	* Is NFS available anywhere for the Mac?

Please Email your responses and I will summarize if I get enough
information.
