Please pardon the multiple newsgroups, I'm trying to get maximum exposure.
I'm writing a manual on UUPC which will eventually be posted. (This started
as a in-house project for 30 salesreps on IBM compatible laptops, but is
growing. One of the reps is interested in a Mac, so I'm adding the Mac
version to the project. Since I'm doing 90% of the work needed for a
general purpose manual, I've decided to release the final product.)
I need information on the Mac version of UUPC. I have source for version
2.1, is this the most recent version? This is source only, and I don't
have a C compiler on my Mac, , so can somebody send me binaries appropriate
for a Mac Plus (2.5mb) on 6.0.2?
(Please e-mail for OK to send, let's not clutter the channel more than once.)
Also, I need two or three reviewers to review the Mac portion of the manual.
Finally, PLEASE send me your comments on UUPC, what works, what doesn't,
what tricks you've found, etc. There is a general dearth of documentation
for this program, I'm trying to fill it somewhat. I've found that there are
several 'undocumented' features of the IBM PC version, and suspect the same
is true of the Mac version. If you've written memos on the program covering
how and what it does, those may contain information I haven't seen, so PLEASE
send them to me via E-mail.
Target dates: Review draft to reviewers around July 1st
First public draft released around July 15th
