[comp.sys.mac.wanted] using a Mac as a telephone answering machine

handcock@numenor.watson.ibm.com (Mark S. Handcock) (08/22/90)

A neat way to store/manipulate telephone messages would be to use
the audio capabilities of MacRecorder coupled with a mail application.
That is for the Mac to answer the phone, announce a pre-recorded
message, and digitally record the message. The messages would be date
stamped and annotated for later playback.

Does anyone know of public domain or commercial applications of this?
I will summarize for the net.

Thanks
