Does anyone know of a Macintosh font that will display the PC graphics characters? I'm doing some documentation of a PC program on my Mac, and it would be nice to be able to use screen shots from my PC in the documentation. Alternatively, if I had a way to copy the Monaco font and give it a new name, like PC-Monaco, I could use ResEdit to make the line drawing characters that I need. Is there a way to make a copy of a font and give it a new name? (I think that both the FONT and FOND resources would need to be modified.) You could make the copy using ResEdit (i.e. Copy/Paste) But better than
that--look for a font called IBMKlone. It's a type 3 postscript font, I don't
remember if it's shareware or PD, I'd have to dig it out of my archives. If you
can't find it anywhere, mail me and I'll mail you a copy.
