I have a 3 month old Apple color monitor on my Mac II. Lately, I have notice periodic episodes of a high pitched whine or squeal coming from the monitor, usually after it has been on for a while. Has anybody had an experieces with these symptoms? Should I expect a failure soon? Or possibly should I march the monitor right back to my dealer for an exchange? Any suggestions appreciated. I have had the same thing happen several times in the last month. If I shift the monitor's weight by picking up the front or back end, it goes away until I set the monitor back down. Turning it off for a few seconds helped a couple of times, but not another time. The problem has not recurred in the last two weeks, though.
