Occasionally, I read in comp.sys.mac.digest about a public domain implementation of TeX, apparently named OzTex. As I'm not really willing to shell out a few hundred dollars for a commercial version just to see what TeX can do, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for OzTex. I would be especially greatful if someone could just mail me a copy, assuming this app was publicly distributed some time ago, and now resides in some system's mac archive. -- Charlie Mingo Internet: mingo@well.sf.ca.us 2209 Washington Circle #2 CI$: 71340,2152 Washington, DC 20037 AT&T: 202/785-2089

If you have ftp access, get the README file from the directory pub/macintosh/mactex (I had a look - it seems to contain instructions). -- Philip Machanick philip@pescadero.stanford.edu

Is there a fileserver that has it? The only fileservers I know about are shadows of the info-mac archive at stanford, and it's not in there. -- ============================================================================ Greg Lampard Optical Networks Section Internet: g.lampard@trl.oz.au Telecom Australia Research Laboratories Phone: +61 3 541 6360 770 Blackburn Rd, Clayton. 3168 Fax: +61 3 543 3339 Victoria, Australia. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
