[comp.sys.mac.wanted] Just some answers to the Grappler

I am no expert, but I have spent some time in finding out if my
two dollar investment at a garage sale really works.
Yes it has paid off!

I would look in the paper for either an Epson or IBM compatible
printer weeks on end. When I found one I would take my SE/30
and Grappler along to try it out.

My success with playing with DIP switches and such has been minimul
but sufficient to the extent that I now own a privitive Okidata ribbon
printer with a garage sale Grappler. But the best of it is that I
can print out as many rough drafts of anything I like at a very cheap
price.

I have tried the Grappler on both IBM and Epson printers. These
appear to have the least of problems, and the best results.

I would highly recommend going the Grappler rout because there are
alot of PC printers out for sale then old expensive imagewriters.

If you want it cheap its the way to go.
