[comp.sys.mac.wanted] Looking for font + PostScript code

goldader@uhccux.uhcc.Hawaii.Edu (Jeff Goldader) (10/12/90)

I'm looking for a couple of things, and I hope someone out there can
help.

The first thing is a font, preferably PostScript, which has the
astronomical symbol for the Sun: a circle with a dot in the center.
If someone has a PD/shareware version, or can point me to a commercial
font with this symbol, I'd be grateful. (I'm using MacWrite II, which
doesn't have overstrike, which I used to use in Word to make the symbol;
pasting pictures in doesn't help, because I usually want the symbol as
a subscript)

The second thing is a bit of PostScript code I saw in a
magazine a few months ago. What it did was to print "DRAFT" in
a light gray shade diagonally across every page of output. (Can you
even tell MacWrite II to avoid formatting typed-in postscript? The
manual doesn't even mention PostScript...) I've looked around and
can't find it; I'd really appreciate a pointer to this code.

Please email; conserve net bandwidth. I'll summarize if there's interest.

we're all happy that way.
