I'm looking for a desk accesory (or small program) that can change the colors present in a PICT picture. Microsoft PowerPoint has exactly the function I'm looking for (they call it "Recolor Picture..."). When you select a picture object it puts up a list of all the colors in the picture and allows you do change each existing color to a new color. For example, all the black lines can be made white. This is very useful when pasting picture into 35mm slides. Unfortunately, I prefer to use Aldus Persuasion for designing 35mm slides, and Persuasion has no equivalent capability. Currently I'm running Persuasion and PowerPoint together under Multifinder and bouncing the pictures from one to the other. I would prefer to get PowerPoint out of the process. If anybody knows of something (public domain, shareware, or commercial), preferably a desk accesory, that does the recoloring operation please let me know. Thanks. Allan Weber weber@sipi.usc.edu
