PROBLEMS WITH MACSERVE Somebody I know uses the MacServe file server and harddisk partitioner. I'm not familiar with this particular program, but his copy crashed, so he lost 18 meg. Ouch! The program seems to be so old even the dealer did not have any more copies. Question: Does anybody have a copy of MacServe, or does anybody know another way to retrieve one's highschool graduation paper from a MacServe partition? Please include my name (Linda) in the header of your reply, as this address is used by more than one person. Thanks in advance! Linda Roeleveld.

The last version was 2.5 >Question: Does anybody have a copy of MacServe, or does anybody know another >way to retrieve one's highschool graduation paper from a MacServe partition? Symantec Utilities for the Mac is the only program that I ever been able to get files off the macserve partitions. Run SUM on the server, and configure it manually. > Linda Roeleveld. -- ___________________________________________________________ Matthew Mora | my Mac Matt_Mora@sri.com SRI International | my unix mxmora@unix.sri.com ___________________________________________________________
