[comp.sys.mac.wanted] Wanted: Program to read 3.5" IBM floppies

garrison@zodiac.rutgers.edu (01/08/91)

Are there any programs that enable one to easily read 3.5" floppies
formatted on a Macintosh in an IBM 3.5" disk drive? (Or programs that
enable a Macintosh to read IBM formatted disks)?

Thanks,
Karl

There is an easier way. Get (read BUY) yourself a copy of "DOS Mounter" from
DAYNA. It's an INIT that will allow you to stick a DOS disk into your HD drive
(SuperDrive) and the DOS disk will show up on your desktop. It even allows you
to map DOS file extensions (.DOC,.WKS,etc.) to Mac file types (MSWD,MWII) for
double-click opening.

Enjoy.
