I need to obtain a copy of psuedo FPU for my Mac LC so that I can run programs requiring a math coprocessor. I would appreciate it very much if someone could send me a copy on disk. If you can send me a copy, please notify me at my above address. I would be happy to compensate you for your efforts. Thank you. I have received a number of requests for a copy of the program psuedo FPU. This program fools the Mac into thinking that it has a math coproccessor. All you need to do to obtain a copy of this program is to 1. ftp sumex-aim.stanford.edu 2. login under anonymous 3. type in anything for you password 4. type help for a list of commands 5. change directory to mac-info 6. go into the subdirectory cdev 7. ftp the program back 8. the program is in binary format. use stuffit to decode the binary file and then decompress the files out of the archive 9. psuedo FPU is activated when you put it into the system folder and reboot In the sumex-aim archive, there are subdirectories for applications, inits, etc. The procedure to get these programs is the same as above.
