I'm looking for some software that will take a scanned image and print it
on to several sheets of paper to make a 'paste-together' poster. I know
software like this exists, but I'd like to do something special with it,
have the sheets seperated by an inch or more rather than border to border.
That is, have them like this:

---- ----
---- ----
| | | |
---- ----
rather than this:
-------
| | |
-------
| | |
-------
*WITHOUT* distortion to the image. Is there anything that will help me
do this? If not, just point me to the next best thing.
