Hi. I am inquiring to see if anyone can point me in the right direction in obtainin a xassembler and compiler fot the mc68000 on a mac. what i want to do is design system firmware using a mac, by typing in direct code or mnemonics, and assembling them into hex, i can effectly achive what i want to do, however i cannot fin a single thing to suit the mac of all computers. can anyone help. steveh steveh@tasman.utas.cc.edu.au

Try the Motorola Freeware BBS, at 512-891-3733. They have complete compilers and assemblers for all of their processors, and in particular development boards. You might be able to find what you want there... I'm currently using a PD C compiler and assembler for cross-compiling 68332 code and downloading it from an MS-DOS <ick> computer to the actual target system... Benjamin Kuo
