Is there something which can do this automatically? Actually, here's the situation, perhaps someone has an even better solution. I do full backups of the server weekly, but would like to set up the drive to do incremental backups nightly (the server needs to be shutdown to do the full backup, but smaller incremental backups could be done over the network at 2:00 a.m., say). The trouble is the backup program won't have access privileges to read all files unless I log in as System Administrator before I go home. Is there some way of having it automatically log onto the server (preferably including logging off if the server volumes are already mounted under a different user name) as System Administrator at 1:50 a.m. so the backup can then do its job at 2:00? Is there some better way of doing what I'm trying to do? Perhaps some other backup software is able to handle this stuff -- Total Recall, which I hate but it came bundled with the drive -- is pretty limited, and pretty sad to boot.
