[comp.sys.mac.wanted] WANTED: Program to catalog disk > printout

jsaker@zeus.unomaha.edu (Jamie Saker, UNO ACE Computer Specialist) (04/05/91)

After sorting through nearly 500 3.5 disks, I've managed to get all
of my files organized in a reasonable fashion and have a nice system
of filing the disks.

Now, I'm interested in locating a program to print out a listing
of each disk (sort of how Compactor prints out the contents of an
archive). I checked out Disk Librarian (at sumex-aim.stanford.edu,
/info-mac/app/) which promptly bombs on a Mac SE (FDHD) and a Mac LC
(not exceptionally surprising since the software was written in 86).

I also checked out a HyperCard stack which sort of accomplishes the
task, except it doesn't print the name of the disk on the printout
(not to handy, eh?).

Has anyone located a program that would accomplish what I'm trying to do?
Many hearty thanks in advance!

Try FileList 1.4, also at sumex. It's the best I've seen for printing a tex
file. It won't do disk labels, though.
